SPEAKER BIO

Stephanie Tilley

Stephanie Tilley is a 2023- 2024 Fulbright U.S. Student Research Fellow at the University of Johannesburg at the Ali Mazrui Centre for Higher Education Studies (AMCHES). She is currently a doctoral candidate at Prairie View A & M University, a Historically Black College and University (HBCU).

She served as a Graduate Research Fellow in the Minority Achievement, Creativity, and High Ability Center (MACH-III) at Prairie View A & M University (PVAMU) and at the Center for HBCU Research, Leadership, and Policy at Howard University. She is committed to advancing scholarly research in comparative and international education and global Black studies. She is an experienced education abroad educator who has worked overseas in Greece and Cape Town, South Africa. She currently serves on the Forum Council for The Forum on Education Abroad and served on the Board of Advisors for AIFS
(American Institute for Foreign Study), the very study abroad organization that changed her life as a student participant.
